Pszenica orkisz (Triticum spelta L.), zwyczajowo nazywana orkiszem lub szpelcem – gatunek zboża należący do rodzaju pszenica (rodzina wiechlinowatych). Popularna w średniowieczu, obecnie rzadko uprawiana.

W czasach prehistorycznych była głównie uprawiana na Bliskim Wschodzie, a obecnie przede wszystkim w krajach europejskich. Jest szczególnie rozpowszechniona w południowo-zachodnich Niemczech oraz w Szwajcarii. Jej uprawy znajdują się także w Stanach Zjednoczonych i Kanadzie.

  • A new, high-quality (group E / A) variety of spring wheat.

  • It is characterized by very good fertility throughout the country.

  • It shows very good health, especially against powdery mildew, spike fusariosis, stalk base diseases, chaff septoria and brown rust.

  • Early variety, medium height and very good lodging resistance.

  • Grains of medium DTZ, with a small amount of residue and the highest powder density.

  • It is distinguished by a very good technological value of grain, which allows for the highest volume of bread.

  • It responds favorably to sulfur fertilization with calcium.

  • It also works well in places after cereals and maize.

  • Cordial variety.

  • The recommended sowing rate for early sowing is 400-450 germinating seeds per 1 m2 (approx. 170-190 kg / ha).
